Friday Favourites – Amara

Friday Favourites – Amara

This year I decided to change things up a bit with my Christmas Decor and instead of having one traditional Tree I wanted to have two big Trees.  My usual Red & Gold Tree would now sit nicely in my Hallway and my new Living Room Tree would be decorated to tie in with my current scheme of Greys and Blush Pink.  So it was just perfect timing when AMARA got in touch to see if I would be interested in choosing some Christmas Tree Decorations from their website.  Of course I jumped at the opportunity as AMARA stock the most beautiful array of Homewares and Gifts, hosting over 250 Brands since they launched in 2005 including designers such as Orla Kiely, Kate Spade, Ted Baker, Ralph Lauren and Versace.

Amara initially started as an interior design business based just outside of London and was created by husband and wife team Andrew and Sam.  Sam’s career in retail fashion nurtured her talent for styling and for staying ahead of trends, she soon found her calling to interiors after project managing her own home renovation.  Andrew’s business know-how comes from his wealth of experience in the investment bank industry.  They utilised their combined strengths to now be in a position to offer their customers something a little different, be that an exclusive collection or a new and exciting brand. Amara launched the Amara Interior Blog Awards in 2014 and I was lucky enough to be nominated in its fourth year this year in the Best Craft Blog Category.  Although I didn’t get to take home the coveted award, which was awarded to my gorgeous new friend From Evija with Love, myself and Eoghan had the best time in London celebrating with winning ladies Evija and Catherine of Dainty Dress Diaries!

With nine dedicated oversea websites offering worldwide delivery, Amara’s international business continues to grow each year.  Amara launched their own brand label A by Amara in 2016 which I love and was completely drawn to as you will see from my top picks below:

The first one that immediately caught my eye was this stunning Opal Gold Dress Decoration from the A by Amara range, I love how pretty it is, the little hanger is just too cute and the best bit is now it has been reduced from €15 to €8 – go grab them quick for next year!!  Next I chose 2 of the Copper Bird Decorations and 2 of the Pink Glass Baubles which are both from the Gisela Graham range.  Unfortunately these have since sold out but here are some other decorations by Gisela Graham which are all currently on sale on the Amara website.

My final pick were these Set of 2 Glass Dome Decorations which are completely on trend this year and with its Santa and Snowman design, I feel will always be in style.  These are also from the A by Amara Range and are now reduced from €21 to €11 a real bargain for the two!

At this stage a lot of the Christmas Tree Decorations are selling out fast so I would suggest heading over to the AMARA website now to buy your favourites while on sale for next year – it’s never too early to start planning your Stylish Christmas Tree for 2018!!

Here are some images from my home this Christmas which I hope might give you some ideas or inspiration.
