I recently won a competition on Instagram by using the hashtag #myvbyvery and the fabulous prize was a €100 Littlewoods Voucher! I got to choose 3 gorgeous V by Very Midi Dresses and had lots of fun styling them up in different ways from casual to day time to night time for Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter.
Here is my #jessicalovesstyle V by Very Style Edit!
First up is this beautiful Coral Midi Dress perfect for Communions or Confirmations, very comfortable and very lightweight (also comes in Green!) I added this Green Coat also from V by Very to draw out the green detail in the dress and to add some warmth for this time of year. This Coat also comes in Pink and Camel.
For a more relaxed look, I opened the bow tie and added some nude block heels and then for an even more casual look, I added my Denim Jacket and Adidas Runners.
Next up is this Chain Print Collar Dress. This Dress is a very comfortable one and while it is made from a Jersey Stretch fabric, it is not too clingy. The first look is dressy with my block heel sandals. Second look, I added a Black Polo Neck, Grey Boots and my Grey Belt Bag from Littlewoods. For a more casual look, I added my Myleene Klass Black Leather Jacket from Littlewoods and my Black Skechers.
I love this look with my Black Polo Neck and over the Knee Boots and for those colder days, I added this Mustard Coat to draw out the Yellow/Gold colour in the dress.
The Third Dress I chose was this Knot Front Printed Midi. It is a very flattering dress with sleeves which I love! The front is low cut and the knot creates a pleat in the middle so this dress would also be great for maternity wear.
The first look is dressy with my coral sandals. The second look is quite casual with my denim jacket and white trainers. The third look with my over the knee boots would make a lovely outfit for a date night or night out with the girls!
First look here is as above but with my leather jacket over it. The next look, I put my red knit over it to bring out the red detail in the flowers and tucked it into a belt, finishing off the look with my sock boots. For the final look, I put my burgundy polo neck underneath and tied the look together with my burgundy boots.
Don’t let the low cut front of the dress put you off buying it if you’re not comfortable with it, as you can always wear something under it or over it as seen above.
I am really delighted with my 3 V by Very Dresses and I hope I gave you some ideas on how to style these with other bits you might have in your wardrobe.
