Supplies Used for this Project:
Frenchic Original Range – Ballerina
Frenchic Frensheen – Gorgeous Gold
Frenchic Finishing Coat
Frenchic Clear Wax
Frenchic Sugar Soap
Frenchic Paint Brush & Wax Brush
AFTER WASHING DOWN WITH SUGAR SOAP, I STARTED PAINTING THE FIRST COAT OF BALLERINA ONTO THE CHAIR & FOOTSTOOL.
AS I WAS GOING FROM BLACK TO A VERY LIGHT COLOUR, I GAVE BOTH PIECES THREE COATS OF THE BALLERINA PAINT.
I THEN MIXED THE GORGEOUS GOLD FRENSHEEN POWDER WITH THE FINISHING COAT TO GET THE CONSISTENCY I WAS HAPPY WITH. I GAVE THE ARMS AND LEGS OF THE CHAIR AND THE LID OF THE FOOTSTOOL TWO COATS OF GOLD, ALLOWING TO DRY IN BETWEEN.
I THEN SEALED ALL THE BALLERINA PAINTED AREAS WITH CLEAR WAX TO PROTECT THE MATERIAL AND PREVENT IT FROM CRACKING. ONCE DRY, I BUFFED THE WAXED AREAS WITH A SPONGE TO GIVE A LOVELY FINISH.
A nice bright addition to my newly updated Craft Room (Blog Post Coming Soon!) if I do say so myself!
