Supplies Used for this Project:
Frenchic Finishing Coat
Frenchic Paint Brush & Sponge
Frenchic Al Fresco Greyhound Paint
The first thing I did was wash the bench down with Sugar Soap to remove any possible grease spots.
I then used a sponge to apply the Finishing Coat as a Primer – basically because I was too lazy to sand the already painted surface back!!
I gave the bench a thin first coat.
I left it to dry for around an hour and then painted a second coat.
Because we were snowed in and couldn’t leave the house, I also decided to paint the kids’ Ikea Table and Chairs set.
(It’s always handy to have some Frenchic lying around the house for such unforeseen natural disasters!!)
A nice little makeover completed in just one afternoon, transforming this corner to a more cosier one I think. I hope this inspires you to get a little creative around the house and if you get the urge, please tag me in your projects @jessicaloves_xx or use the hashtag #reloveyourhomes on Facebook and Instagram as I would love to see your finished pieces!
