Brand New for Christmas 2017 are these Fireplace Scenes, Christmas Family Trees and Elf Door Box Frames. I have very limited spaces left for these and the Order Book has already closed for Christmas Eve Boxes so myself, Emer and Katie will be kept very busy indeed in the run up to Christmas this year!
The Studio is a huge work in progress at the moment with plenty of unforeseen problems arising including water leaks and crumbling floors and I won’t lie, I have wanted to give up and walk away from Tuscany House at least 4 times each week but I’m going to try and remain positive and power through to give her the makeover she badly needs and truly deserves! I still hope to have the Studio up and running by October so will keep you all up to date here and also include details of our upcoming Creative Workshops. I will have a separate Jessica Loves Studio Makeover Blog Post once she is all prettified so keep an eye out for that too!
On the 13th September, I received the fantastic news that I have been Nominated for a New Yorker Hi Style Award which now brings me up to 3 nominations for 2017!! I am so delighted with the recognition and also over the moon that two of my favourite Mumpreneurs, Lesley of Harper’s Hats and Gina of Flawless Beauty, have also been nominated for a Hi Style Award!! We need your votes to get us to the Shortlist Stage so we would be extremely grateful if you could please vote for us by emailing our names to firstname.lastname@example.org as we would love a Mamas night out for the Awards in November!!
On the 14th September, I received more fantastic news that I have been Shortlisted in 2 Categories for the V by Very Blog Awards for Corporate Arts & Crafts and Corporate Lifestyle!! The next Round will announce the Finalists who will get to attend the Awards Ceremony in Dublin next month, a girl can dream!!
On the 18th September, I received even more fantastic news that my Blog has been Shortlisted down to the final 6 for the Amara Interior Blog Awards in London aghhhh!! We will be flying over to attend the fabulous Awards Ceremony at the Design Museum in Kensington – I’m just not able!! Thank you all sooo much for Voting to help #sendjessicatolondon I’m so thrilled and beaming with pride to have made it to the final for Best Craft Blog! Thank you again for your continued support for my Blog and Business, I really and truly appreciate it all so very much!
This month, I was so happy to be invited down by Lucy Walsh of Devon View House B&B for a Tour of their stunning, newly renovated Georgian Townhouse. If you love interiors as much as I do, go grab yourself a cuppa and head over here to see more pictures and read all about it! I really need to win the Lotto and to myself a Townhouse…!
I was also very happy when Norma Stone of Tone & Tan Beauty Salon kindly invited me down for a Complimentary Skin Analysis and Dermalogica Facial, which was very welcomed to calm me down after all those exciting emails! You can read all about my relaxing visit to her beautiful salon here. Norma also very generously gave me a Dermalogica Skin Kit to kickstart my #30DaysToFitSkin Journey which contained very convenient sample size products – perfect timing for our holiday to Salou!
Just before we jetted off on our #powerof4explore family holiday, I got yet another amazing email to say I have now reached the Finalist Stage of the V by Very Blog Awards!!! I actually can’t cope with the excitement of this month!!! I cannot wait to attend the Awards night in Dublin next month – the Dress Code is Movie Icon so the pressure is on after holidays to find (and fit into!!) a red carpet dress!!
Last year, being our first family holiday abroad, we called into our local travel agent in Youghal for advice on where to go and they didn’t disappoint when they suggested the Sanguli Resort in Salou. They made the booking so easy for us (even down to ensuring we had a ramp outside our accommodation for the double buggy!) so we couldn’t wait to call back in and book our holiday to Sanguli again this year. The Resort has since built on a new Africa area which is just incredible to see. Everything you could possibly need is all on site within walking distance including a supermarket, selection of restaurants, various swimming pools and the fantastic Amphitheatre with live entertaining shows almost every night of the week. You can sit down with your pizza and cocktails while the kids tire themselves out dancing late into the night! There is a beautiful beach walk into Salou just outside the gates of the Resort. There is also a lovely Train Ride Tour you can take that goes as far as the PortAventura Theme Park which has the scariest Rollercoaster I have ever seen and will never ever go on!!
As you have probably guessed I would highly recommend the Sanguli Resort to anyone and everyone with kids!! We will definitely be going back as it’s like a home away from home to us now and it was a lovely relaxing end to a very hectic month.
October is lining up to be even more hectic though with the opening of Jessica Loves Studio, the V by Very Awards in Dublin, the Amara Interior Awards in London and I just got another email… I’ve been Nominated for a Cork Business Award for Cork Small Business of the Year 2017!!
Thanks for stopping by x
